ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ನ.26: ನಗರದ ಜೆಪ್ಪು ಮೋರ್ಗನ್ಸ್ ಗೇಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ಆರ್. ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬ್ಯಾರೀಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಟ್ಸ್ ಎಲ್.ಎಲ್.ಪಿ. ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಿರುವ 'ಗೇಟ್ ವೇ' ಕಮರ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಕಮ್ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಕಾಂಪ್ಲೆಕ್ಸ್ ಗೆ ರವಿವಾರ ಶಿಲಾನ್ಯಾಸ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ಯು.ಟಿ.ಖಾದರ್ ಶಿಲಾನ್ಯಾಸ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ‘ಯಾವುದೇ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾದರೆ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಜೆಪ್ಪುವಿನ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 'ಗೇಟ್ ವೇ' ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಎಂದರು.
ಮಾಹಿತಿಪತ್ರ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಯೆನೆಪೊಯ ವಿವಿಯ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ.ವೈ.ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಂಞಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವ ನಗರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಮಾರ್ಕೆಟ್, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಇರುವ ಜೆಪ್ಪು ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ರಶೀದ್ ಹಾಜಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೇಟ್ವೇ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯವನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿರುವುದು ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಬ್ಯಾರಿಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಟ್ಸ್ ಎಲ್.ಎಲ್.ಪಿ. ಆಡಳಿತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಎಸ್.ಎಂ.ರಶೀದ್ ಹಾಜಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಎಸ್ಎಂಆರ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ಯಾರೀಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಟ್ಸ್ ಎಲ್.ಎಲ್.ಪಿ. ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, 36 ಸೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ 'ಗೇಟ್ ವೇ' ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ಸಮುಚ್ಚಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ತಳ ಅಂತಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರು ಪಾರ್ಕಿಂಗ್, ನೆಲ ಅಂತಸ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳು, ಮೇಲಿನ 4 ಮಹಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 30 ಫ್ಲ್ಯಾಟ್ ಗಳು ಇರಲಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
